These sudden year-over-year increases are due to the increasing demand for project management staff, the increase in the number of participants (which translates into better representation) and the continued growth of digital projects in various sectors. The average rate of independent digital project managers in the U.S. represented a wider range of rates compared to last year`s results, ranging from $50 to $1,100 per day. Of those who responded, the largest number of responses came from the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. In the results below, we have reviewed statistics from our own survey and referred to other sources of salary surveys (which you will find at the end of the article) to ensure the validity of the figures provided.
