The main terms and conditions of employment for the majority of Queensland Health employees are imposed by bonuses and agreements. Certified agreements contain terms and conditions of employment negotiated between an employer and the relevant public sector unions on behalf of employees. Although the awards are presented by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC), the agreements are negotiated by Queensland Health and Queensland Health employee representatives.
